Responsibilities

The Identity Access Management (IAM) Engineer will serve as the technical expert responsible for application integration, support, design and implementation of access enterprise platforms within the authentication and identity lifecycle.  The ideal candidate will be able to design, develop, test and maintain solutions that exceed our customers' needs.  This position is available remotely. 

  • Manage access management platform integrations
  • Serve as a key member of the Managed Services implementation team
  • Partner with internal and external teams to expand our managed services and customer implementations
  • Participate in business process evaluation/improvement activities and requirements gathering
  • Participate in system implementations
  • Execute projects based on these activities
  • Maintain access platform, performing upgrades and required patches
 

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years experience with Authentication technologies including PingFederate, PingID, MFA, AzureAD and/or CA Siteminder, or equivalent technologies. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading technical initiatives
  • United States Citizen. Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United State without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Solid understanding of Identity Management (IDM), Single Sign On (SSO) and security concepts
  • Expert knowledge of authentication with hands-on implementation experience with SAML, OAuth2, MFA, and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
  • Demonstrated understanding of Identity and Access Management business processes
  • Demonstrated Web development experience with Java, REST and JSON
  • Scripting and automation experience to support automated deployments
  • Expertise in data and problem analysis, creative problem solving and design thinking
  • Holds an active US Security Clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification 
 

Differentiators

  • 4-year Computer Science degree (or other technical field) or 4+ years of Information Systems experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools and logging frameworks
  • Seven (7) or more years of broad IT experience in a field such as application development, infrastructure management, or related fields in addition to experience in Security technologies
  • Experience with Web applications servers and web services
  • Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities
  • Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working with customers and vendors to carry out proof of concepts and design discussions

Location

This role is offered as a fully remote or hybrid position based out of our Sterling, VA office.

 

Salary

The base salary range for this position is between $120,000-$160,000 and varies based on experience.
